Our curriculum covers topic areas that include (but are not limited to):
- Business Planning
- Strategic Planning
- Marketing
- Web Marketing
- Social Media Marketing
- HR Management
- Financial Planning and Analysis
We also partner with other organizations to offer tailored curriculum such as the ETSY Craft Entrepreneurship Program which helps artists and makers learn how to sell online using ETSY as a learning lab.
FREE Brown Bag Lunch Events
Meet other small business owners and learn about business during your lunch hour. WESST Regional Offices offer free Brown Bag Lunches during the work week that feature local industry experts speaking about timely subjects and topics. Some Brown Bag Lunch events are sponsored and may also include lunch/beverages. Please check our Upcoming Training page to see if there’s an upcoming Brown Bag Lunch scheduled in your area.
Financial Literacy Training Through Our Money Learning Lab
The Money Learning Lab brings small business makers, doers and dreamers together to access tools that will help build their business. To create this innovative new program, WESST engaged aspiring and existing small business owners to help us co-design a solution to overcoming financial barriers when starting or growing a business. The Money Learning Lab helps communities of small business owners master their financial systems in a way that complements who they are and what their small business needs are. Training offerings and workshops vary throughout the year. For questions, please contact Adriana Martinez-Guzman at 505.246.6933.
