WESST PRESS RELEASES

WESST Welcomes Lindsey Kay as VP of Client Services

Having exited her role as Executive Director of Paws and Stripes just this past May, Lindsey Kay is excited to be the newest member of the WESST team. Since founding Paws and Stripes in 2010, Lindsey created and led the Albuquerque-based veterans service organization for its entire history. In the process, the organization has grown from a small start-up into an international leader in service dog training and mental health services for veterans and their loved ones.

Lindsey holds a master’s in social work in Leadership and Administration from NM Highlands University and is passionate about serving her New Mexico community. WESST’s dedication to anti-racism, empowerment of women, BIPOC, and those facing poverty, along with their ongoing commitment to dismantling systemic barriers that oppress and harm marginalized communities in New Mexico, resonates deeply with Lindsey’s values.

“We’re delighted that Lindsey has joined WESST as our VP of Client Services,” said WESST President Agnes Noonan.   “She did an amazing job growing Paws and Stripes over the past 14 years and has an in-depth understanding of the non-profit sector which will serve her well in her new role.  Her social work background and education is highly relevant to the clientele WESST serves and we couldn’t be happier about her joining the WESST Team!” said Agnes Noonan, President of WESST.

“I am so excited to ease into this important role with the statewide Team at WESST,” said Lindsey Kay. “I look forward to embracing new challenges and seizing the opportunity to foster deeper, more meaningful connections in service to the people of New Mexico.”
