WESST to Host Virtual Forum to Empower Women Business Owners
In recognition of National Women’s History Month, WESST Farmington Women’s Business Center will be hosting the second annual virtual EmpowHer Forum on Friday, March 25. With the theme of Opening the Door to Economic Empowerment for Women Business Owners, participants can learn from panels of women, as they share their business journey, passion and life experiences.
“Our focus is always to empower women, to help them take control of the economic future for their business and to grow professionally,” said Agnes Noonan, WESST president and CEO. “We’re thrilled to be collaborating with incredible local women business owners to provide this event, in which aspiring women entrepreneurs and business owners who can learn from these leaders as well as become economically empowered.”
The event will run from 9am–12pm, with the Zoom room opening at 8:30am for networking opportunities. In addition to two panels, the event will feature a presentation on the importance of women empowerment and networking for success and balance in busy everyday lives, as well as navigating a new world beyond COVID-19.
“We encourage all to attend and learn about opening doors in business, as well as entrepreneurial and financial tips,” added Noonan. “Wherever you are in your business journey, we’re here to support and inspire you for this coming year and beyond.”
