P/7 Construction is a single member limited liability company based out of Kirtland, NM serving the Farmington and Durango communities. P/7 Construction’s mission statement is to build community with honesty and quality. Kurt started the business in the mists of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 after losing his father and returning to his home-town roots. The name of P/7 is taken from the Pablo Family’s livestock brand to signify a continuation of a family’s dreams, integrity, and history. Kurt decided to use his experience to start P/7 Construction LLC in the Four Corners area to fill the demand of residential renovation jobs left as a result of backlog from the pandemic and retiring contractors.

WESST Farmington Women’s Business Center started working with Kurt in May 2022. Kurt and consultant Holly Patterson worked on polishing his business plan, organizing cash flow projections, and guiding Kurt through the loan process offered at WESST. Holly is also assisting Kurt search for grants and funding for Native American owned businesses and capitalizing on the opportunity of obtaining a physical office space in the renovated Farmington Downtown area.
