New Mexico Educators FCU partners with WESST on Give Grande New Mexico

New Mexico Educators FCU is partnering with WESST and WESST client, Marron and Associates, to mobilize small business support in New Mexico. The credit union will be adding an additional $7,000 match to $7,000 in matching funds provided by Marron and Associates. These matching funds will provide two matching dollars for every dollar (up to $7,000 cumulative) donated during Give Grande New Mexico Day on Tuesday, May 6th.

“Like New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union, WESST believes in financial literacy, asset building and economic mobility,“ said Terry Laudick, New Mexico Educators FCU President and CEO. “With the money raised on May 6th, WESST clients, like Marron and Associates, will get the training they need to grow their businesses and create much needed jobs in our communities.”

Shelly Herbst of Marron and Associates made the original matching funds donation because “WESST has helped us so much, and we believe in giving back.” Both Laudick and Herbst hope that their investments will inspire other businesses, organizations, and individuals to meet their challenge and invest in small business development in New Mexico.

You can help meet this challenge by giving to WESST online at www.givegrandenm.org on Tuesday, May 6th.
