On Thursday, September 5, WESST hosted its 10^th Annual Silver Soiree, our signature fundraising event, which marked our 35^th anniversary and raised a significant $183,000 to support WESST’s mission to be a home to entrepreneurs.

 

The event featured three of WESST’s small business clients: Lauren Wenderoth, The Village Refillery; Kate Padilla, Brightburn Academy of Irish Dance; and Christina Starr, Boujee on a Budget. These inspiring small business owners shared their business journeys and how WESST’s support helped them achieve their entrepreneurial dreams. Their stories are a testament to their passion and creativity, and the transformative power of WESST’s programs and services.

 

In addition to celebrating its 35th anniversary, WESST also honored the retirement of our President of 33 years, Agnes Noonan. Agnes has been an integral part of WESST since its inception, and her dedication and hard work have made a significant contribution to WESST’s success and impact throughout New Mexico.
